Indiana University

2016 – 2018

Associate Instructor — teaching UX, HCI, and the social and historical sides of technology.

As an Associate Instructor at Indiana University's Luddy School of Informatics, Computing, and Engineering, I taught and mentored across the UX and HCI curriculum — for both undergraduates and first-year master's students.

My courses ranged widely: a Social Informatics course and a history-of-technology course that pushed students to think critically about technology's role in society, alongside core HCI master's courses that introduced first-year students to the craft. On the side, I also taught Sketch — the throwback design tool of the era — for our master's program, helping new designers get hands-on with their first interface-design workflow.
